SCHOOL HOUSE SPORTS THURSDAY 20th FEBRUARY
GO WYRES! GO REYNOLDS! GO BEDGGOOD!
This year we will again be holding our School House Sports at Llanberris Reserve during school hours. Each year we have seen such great support for the children. We hope as many family and friends as possible will still be able to come along and support their children for at least part of the sports.
The school day will start at 9.00 am, children leaving on buses at 9.10 am sharp for Llanberris. Teachers will be responsible for the supervision of your child throughout the whole of the day at Llanberris. Parents wishing to take their child home at the end of the Sports must inform the child’s supervising teacher. Children will be back at school normal dismissal at 3.10 pm.
Following the last event, final points will be tallied and Presentations made.
Children will need to bring a healthy cut lunch, drinks and play lunch in separate named bags. The Llanberris canteen will be open for sales and lunch items. Children can bring a maximum of $10 spending money
Children will need to be suitably dressed in hat, shorts/skins, runners and t-shirt (shirts in house colours if possible) sunscreen and a drink bottle are essential! The cost for this day will be $3 for bus travel to and from the Sports.
Looking forward to a great Sports
Harmony Week - Choir Performance
Our School Choir performed at Harmony Week at the Town Hall. The students performance was fantastic and such a great representation of our beautiful school and students.
Relay for Life 2020

On Wednesday 12th February we had a Mini Relay for Life. The children walked and walked around the school atrium (due to the rain), followed by a BBQ run by our amazing volunteers Jess, Sean and Tamika.
We raised approx $160 to donate towards the Cancer Council - Relay for Life.
Thankyou to everyone who supported this event and well done to all the students.
Student Attendance
Students who are absent or late to school need to be accounted for as per DET Guidelines. If you are running late to school and it is after 9.00am please enter via the General Office and sign your child in. If your student is absent please phone the school on 5335 8157 to report the reason for their absence. A text message will be sent home daily for student absences that are unapproved. This is a reminder to parents to call the school and report reason for student absence. It is not okay to be away!
