At Sebastopol Primary School, the Resilience, Rights and Respectful Relationships (RRRR) program is a whole-school approach that values the support and involvement of students, parents, families, and staff.
The RRRR program supports our school community to promote and model respect, positive attitudes, and positive behaviours, while teaching students how to build healthy relationships, resilience, and confidence.
Through participation in this program, students develop a strong understanding of what respectful relationships look like and feel like, recognise their rights and responsibilities within society, understand and value that everyone is unique, and identify the personal strengths and attributes they possess. Students also learn practical strategies they can implement and identify the supports available to help them navigate challenging situations.
At each year level, students explore the following areas:
The RRRR program at Sebastopol Primary School has strong links across many curriculum areas, including English and Health and Physical Education, supporting students to develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence to thrive both at school and in the wider community.
